Bio:

Lori K. graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 1999. While at massage school, she had a roll over car accident. The accident changed her life and luckily she was in school where she could get the care she needed to feel better. The need for care with her chronic pain has given her empathy when working on clients with injuries and chronic pain. She completed the Associate of Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy in 2000 with a focus on sports and orthopedic massage. Lori had her first child in January of 2002. The experience of being pregnant and the post partum time prompted her to seek further education with pregnancy. Her continuing education brought her to prenatal and postpartum massage and care through a Lamaze childbirth education certification and postpartum doula certification through the Doulas of North America (DONA). Lori enjoys working out, hiking, yoga and spending time with her son.

Bio:

Lori Clair has been in the health and fitness industry since 1984, working in health clubs, physical therapy clinics as a PTA, personal training, teaching several varieties of group exercise classes . Her passion has always been learning as much about the human body as she could and teaching others about how to take care of themselves to achieve their maximum potential, injury free.

She went back to school in 2006 at Colorado School of Healing Arts to complete a 1000 hour program in advanced neuroanatomy and cranial sacral.

She has worked at Rally Sport since 2006 and loves working with athletes. 

Dylan Holtkamp

Dylan pursued massage therapy with the goal of facilitating lasting change and reducing chronic pain for his clients. Posture, muscle imbalances, body awareness, and releasing holding patterns are typically the focus of his massage sessions. Dylan’s massage style combines myofacial release, facilitated movement, and direct pressure and is always dictated by your needs that day. You can expect a unique massage experience that progresses you towards your goals and teaches you something about your body in the process.

 

Lauren Sabo

Deep tissue, neuromuscular, sports and orthopedic massage

Bio:

Lauren Sabo, RMT, graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy. She is trained in Swedish, Neuromuscular, Myofacial Release (MFR), Sports, and Orthopedic Massage. With these techniques, Lauren is passionate about helping people live, train, and compete pain-free.

Lauren has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Radford University in Radford, Virginia where she played four years of Women’s Club Basketball. Lauren believes in having a very active lifestyle of her own which is also why she is very passionate about providing excellent bodywork to excel in your own active lifestyle. Outside of work, you can find Lauren running, playing basketball, hiking, and snowboarding.

Laurens style of bodywork specializes on deep tissue, neuromuscular, sports and orthopedic massage, and she has experience working with amateur, professional, and recreational athletes recovering from injuries and sporting events. She is also trained in rehabilitating people from accidents such as whiplash, herniated disc, and muscle strain/sprain.

 

Darcie Jones

Bio:

Darcie recently moved to Boulder from Vermont where she worked as a Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer at a small private studio. Darcie is excited to build a new client base and continue her education here in Boulder. Darcie loves sports and fitness and is grateful to have found a career that allows her to connect with people that have similar interests. She also has a passion for coaching basketball and years of experience coaching high school athletes. She enjoyed playing basketball, soccer, and lacrosse during high school and college. She is competitive by nature, always ready to try something new, and motivated to step up to her next challenge. She looks forward to her future endeavors in beautiful Boulder and is very eager to help her new clients reach their highest potential.

 

Geoff Hower

A mountain biker and hiker for many years; training for first triathlon this season. I love the adventure of exploring some place new, especially if I need my passport to get there.

I was a Personal Trainer for a spell which led to my interest in pain/injury rehab. I moved to exercise therapy as a specialist in chronic back & neck pain. From there I moved to massage therapy with a strong focus on sports and orthopedic methods. I was a teacher's assistant for several classes including anatomy, orthopedic massage and normalization of soft tissue.

I currently work with many professional triathletes, runners, cyclists, and climbers.

 

Metta Gilbert

Bio:

Metta Gilbert was born and raised in Helena, Montana and moved to Boulder, CO to become a Certified and Registered Massage Therapist. She graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy and specializes in Orthopedic and Sports Massage. As a RMT with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science (Western Washington University (WWU), Bellingham, WA) she has a passion for facilitating each client’s pain free lifestyle and reaching optimal levels of performance. She uses an integrative approach and uniquely molds each session to the specific needs of every individual.

Metta rowed crew and was a four-time Division II NCAA National Champion at WWU and is presently the Head Coach for the University of Colorado Women’s Crew Team. She is passionate about leading an active lifestyle, and whether learning new movements at Crossfit, cycling, running, swimming, skiing uphill, downhill, or simply loving the outdoors... she uses and advocates regular massage and frequent recovery tools to help you recover, prevent injuries, and maintain your own active lifestyle!
